Foxton Scarecrow Festival

St Laurence’s Church will be holding its very successful Scarecrow Festival once again this year on Saturday 12 October, so please come along and join us for some scarecrow fun!

As in previous years, you’ll be able to wander through Foxton village from one scarecrow to another, and join in with the various fundraising activities along the way, together with refreshments such as bacon butties, home-made soup or tea and cakes. Plus, the children’s quiz and ‘Where’s Wally?’ – will you be able to find this special scarecrow, hidden somewhere in the village? The event will finish in the Church from 4.30pm with prize giving and Foxton Singers performing.

Programmes will be available on the day from the Church, the Village Hall and the Village Shop. For further information, contact Jill Buggey

Any Foxton residents or organisations are welcome to make a scarecrow to display anywhere in the village (not necessarily at your house). Please complete the entry form below and return it to Jill (9 Edis Way or
