On Thursday 10th December at Thriplow Village hall, we will be holding a Christmas get together with tea and cakes and sales stalls. there is also an opportunity to make some Christmas decorations. We will commence at 2.30 pm and we warmly invite you to join us on this festive occasion.
On Sunday 29th November members of all four churches within our benefice will be meeting at St George’s Church at 10.30am to celebrate the start of the Season of Advent. We will also be dedicating the new extension to the church with toilet facilities, which was completed on 4th September. This marks the completion of the second phase of The Mary Cooper Open Church Project
Our former rector Canon Linda Church, Director of Ministry within Ely diocese, who initiated this project, will be joining us on this special occasion. We would be very pleased if you could join us for this event, as we give thanks for all the people and organisations that have supported this project. The service will last about one and a half hours and there will be an opportunity to inspect the new work, and speak with those involved in the project. Light refreshments will be served.

Advent Course 2014
This year's Advent Reflection will use Pilgrim course material to focus upon The Beatitudes
How can we build our lives on the teaching and example of Jesus? As we prepare to welcome Christ into our lives again this Christmas we will explore the Christian vision for the world, including openness to God, thirsting for what is right, peace making and living as citizens of God's Kingdom.
It is hoped to run a daytime and an evening session each week leading up to Christmas with dates and times as follows:
