Summer Sundays
During the 7 weeks from 20th July to 31st August we will be holding slightly different services.
During these services we will
Use words that will make it clear what we are doing at each point of the service and why
Present that week’s story from the bible in a totally accessible way
Have an introduction to the week’s subject by the rector
Have a short talk, usually by somebody else, explaining the significance of this subject to their faith
Sing with our usual combination of traditional and modern music
Finish the service with a very short act of Communion
Whilst there will be no children’s church on these weeks, there will be activity packs available for children, as well as our toddler toy areas.
